It was first rumored that there was trouble in paradise last week when Kardashian was seen leaving the office of divorce lawyers. Those rumors were confirmed early this week when the starlet filed for divorce. Her marriage to basketball star Kris Humphries lasted all of 72 days. Many now believe that Kardashian, in conjunction with E! Entertainment, staged the entire ordeal for publicity.

E! Entertainment had plans to reshow the Kardashian wedding ordeal this week. Due to the high popularity of the original airings, they had scheduled to rerun the wedding on Wednesday, November 2nd and part two would show on Thursday, November 3rd. The original airing of the wedding on October 9 was the highest rated television event in the history of E! Entertainment.

However, when Kardashian announced that he marriage was over, they moved the shows up to air on Monday and Tuesday. However, after some were giving the network flack for coinciding the airings with Kardahsian’s announcement, the network backed off. Instead of airing part two on Tuesday, they aired it last night. Of course they did include an announcement about the divorce at the beginning of the episode.

When asked why they would even air the episode again in the first place, Suzanne Kolb, President of E! Entertainment said, ” We are a topical network and this is a topic at the moment.” When it first aired, both parts of “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event” attracted more than 4 million viewers – big numbers for a cable network.”
